The food is always freshly cooked and there's plenty of meat and fresh vegetables on your plate. It's very good value for money, friendly service and a nice homely atmosphere. You are made to feel very welcome.

Whenever I have eaten at the Shire Horse - weekdays- from the vast menu, or Sundays for the carvery, it's always excellent and great value. I wouldn't eat anywhere else. Best carvery and burgers in town!
