Infact, when Clive and Debbie Reynolds took ownership in February 2011, they vowed to create an environment where families could relax and enjoy a social atmosphere away from the stresses of everyday life and to always give exceptional value for money with good attentive service. (A family of four can typically have an appetising and wholesome meal for less than £25 while childrens' popular meals are just £3.50 including a free drink).
Guest Beers:
And if you like a good pint, Shire Horse has a new guest beer every month along with its regular real ales. Oh, and did I mention - at Shire Horse, you get the cheapest priced beer in Corby!!
Bar snacks are served all day while full meals are served every evening Monday - Friday from 5pm - 9pm and Saturdays from 12 noon - 9pm.
On Sundays you can treat yourself to the very popular Carvery for just £6.20 (adults) served all afternoon
from 1pm - 5pm.
Healthy and Affordable:
There is always a good variety of healthy and affordable dishes to suit all members of the family, including Debbie's tempting special home made desserts - (watch out for the white chocolate cheesecake and various crumbles!), and if for some 'strange' reason you don't see what you like, they'll even make you something off the menu!
In nicer weather, children can enjoy the provided play equipment and bouncy castles put up in the good sized beer garden.
Entertainment:
If you fancy a good night out, there are plenty of live bands and music nights pre-booked at Shire Horse, (plus disco and Karaoke nights), and every Friday you can try your luck with Cash Bingo in the lounge from 8pm.
