Tindalls - Art & Graphic Suppliers - Colchester Testimonials

Tindalls is an excellent craft shop. It isnʼt very large but itʼs like a Tardis- lots of choice, and covers lots of different art & craft hobbies. Although packed with items, you donʼt feel crushed (like you can in some well stocked shops) as there is an airy feel and you have room to browse.
The only thing that spoils Tindalls is that every time I visit, the staff seem very unhappy to be there. They never seem to have a smile to spare! ALso, I have often overheard loud conversations between staff criticising other staff members. It makes you feel very uncomfortable.

Incidently, they have a closing time of 5.15pm, so donʼt get caught out thinking that you have till 5.30 to get there (like I did and was very disappointed!) Oh, and woe betide you if you dare to still be there 10 minutes before closing- or one of the grumpies will follow you around.

The Best of Colchester is very happy to recommend Tindalls. Many of us have used them and have always found them to have a great selection of craft materials. They are truly representative of The Best of Colchester.

Huge range of craft materials. Very helpful informative staff. Did not try and sell, but instead gave me sound advice. Now and then have visiting artists. They have something for all age groups.
