The Na-Ree Thai Restaurant is one of Colchester's leading Thai restaurant and the owner Lek King teaches and demonstrates the basic and finer points of Thai Cookery at one day, 'hands-on' seminars on two Sundays every month.
If you have ever thought of cooking Thai style at home, then Na-Ree Thai Cookery School is the place to show you the authentic way to do it.
You may learn how to produce
Thai spring rolls and sesame toasts
Tom Yum (clear soup etc)
Gaeng Daeng Goong (red curry prawns etc)
Pad Pet Ghai (stir-fried chicken etc)
Sticky coconut rice
Jasmine rice or pad noodles
Or some other Thai specialities
They take only six persons per course and provide all the ingredients and equipment. Each student cooks one course which is eaten during the day.
The cookery courses run from 10.00am until 4.00pm and the fee is £90 per person (inclusive of VAT, wine, beer or soft drinks). These single day courses also make a special gift for those who wish to learn the fine art of Thai cookery.
