I work on my own and tend to be busy all day with appointments. In the past, this meant that I used to have to let an answering machine pick up messages from new or existing clients looking to make an appointment. In many cases, by the time I had been able to call them back, the new clients had found an alternative chiropractor to visit. I had heard of MyRuby and some of my business clients had already taken them on board and said they have proved a very valuable member of the team. Within five minutes of setting up the service, I was receiving texts from “Ruby” with patients’ details. When my diary is booked all day I am able to tell MyRuby that I will not be able to make calls until the end of the day. This allows them to give clients an accurate time when I will be able to call them back, which ultimately provides a far more personal service for them. In fact, “Ruby” acts so much like an extension of my business that clients expect to see her when they come in for their appointment!

‘Sigma Asset Management Ltd. is committed to providing high quality, independent financial advice to the clients of accountants and solicitors. ‘As the distribution of financial products becomes less fragmented, we have positioned ourselves within the IFA marketplace as a professional firm along the lines of traditional accountancy and legal practices. Our target market is small to medium sized corporates, professional individuals, the self–employed and business owners. ‘As Sigma operates as an umbrella brand for six other advisory firms and due to the fact that we have a small team, we have chosen to outsource our telephone communications to MyRuby when we are unable to answer the phone. We can often have up to four telephone calls coming through simultaneously and to have the peace of mind that they will all be handled quickly and professionally improves our client service. ‘Our Ruby, Donna, handles calls for all seven phone lines we have directed through to MyRuby. We were really pleased with the speed and ease with which Donna picked up the understanding and essence of our businesses and the professional service MyRuby provides. Depending on the urgency, Donna is able to judge whether or not the call needs to be transferred to a mobile, or whether we receive an instant notification email. ‘Following our impressive free week trial of the MyRuby service, we did not hesitate to sign up to the service. We were really pleased with the speed and ease with which Sue picked up the essence of our business and the professional service MyRuby provides. Depending on the urgency, Sue is able to judge whether or not the call needs to be transferred to a mobile, or whether we receive an instant notification email. We have been using MyRuby since December 2007 and we are delighted with the service that they offer. We all know how important it is to ensure that phone calls are answered quickly and efficiently and that the majority of small businesses cannot afford a full time receptionist so it is extremely comforting to know that all your calls are being answered professionally when you are unable to man the phones yourself. I can thoroughly recommend MyRuby to any business requiring this kind of telephony support.
