I aspire to lots of things, you have to keep moving forward right ! Well amongst my list of aspirations it to be taller, leaner, more relaxed, prettier ....
So Saturday saw me venturing back to Aspirations on Old Church Road, Clevedon, www.aspirationshairandbeauty.co.uk
I love Aspirations, it is such a friendly relaxed place and the girls there are lovely. So with a long list of "requirements"! and armed with the Aspirations Offer Vouchers from the Best of Clevedon, I headed to Aspirations.
First up was a delicious back, neck and shoulder massage with Lizzie. What can I say, I was so relaxed by the time she had finished, I felt absolutely amazing. The think I love about the Aspirations treatment rooms is that it is so peaceful. Lovely music in the back ground, candles and sheer relaxation. So many beauty salons and spas get this wrong with intrusive noises, phones going off, people knocking on the door, loud music. Not Aspirations, it was sublime.
So suitably relaxed I headed downstairs for my complementary file and polish (free file and polish with the back, new and shoulder massage). Lizzie, this time armed with nail file gave my nails a much needed reshaping and painted them in the most wicked dark purple polish (my choice from numerous options of colour available). They look sensational.
So my big moment was at hand, my hair cut ! I am obsessed with my hair and very fussy about who does what to it. Again, no need to worry here. Becky is new at Aspirations and in November , her hair services are 10% off. So I took the plunge and I am so glad I did. Becky is lovely. I really enjoyed meeting her and chatting to her and she gave me a wonderful head massage during my conditioning and then moved onto the business of cutting. She did a fantastic job. My fringe (which drives me to distraction a lot of the time) looks terrific and my the condition of my hair is fabulous.
So all in all I had a fantastic Saturday at Aspirations. I entered looking a bit worn out ! and left looking sleek, polished and relaxed. If you are looking for a really friendly salon, where you are treated like a friend and there is a total lack of pretentious, superficial behaviour, then Aspirations will put the biggest smile on your face and make you feel totally terrific.
