When I first visited the Cosmetic Dental Studio in Clacton, my self-image was just about as poor as it could be.I have always hated my looks and in particular hated my gappy,uneven teeth.I was also very wary of dentists, due to previous bad experiences but Abdel Khan is different. He is just the sweetest, most caring man and he (and his lovely assistant Nikki and receptionist,Sandra) treated me with nothing but kindness, from the moment I set foot in the door.
Yes, my treatment had me on an emotional roller-coaster. That was purely down to my lack of self-confidence though. Abdel seemed unfazed by my tears and ongoing fears. I felt no physical pain from any of the treatment I received and I never felt a nuisance if I needed to phone or call in to check something out.
With my treatment now completed, I have a 'proper' smile that I am slowly learning not to hide. To be able to look in a mirror and not instantly hate what you see is something more special than I can put into words.
I cannot thank Abdel and his team enough. To anyone out there needing dental work and harbouring fears of going to a dentist.....well,I think you can guess who I'd recommend!
