Formerly a hotel for over 40 years, Clacton-on-Sea’s The Carlton was recently purchased by Ron Swanborough who has launched an ongoing programme of improvements to develop the pub and pub food restaurant whilst keeping a reassuring and gentle atmosphere which is a far cry from the cacophony and furore of youthful excess.
The Carlton pub restaurant in Clacton-on-Sea serves tasty, traditional pub food, made with only fresh produce, with prices that won't break the bank.
