My daughter loves going here to paint plates and will happily sit for ages painting. There is a wide range of ceramics to choose from and lots of help to get you started.The results are fantastic even for small children. A very enjoyable and affordable afternoon spent.

Oh! Goody is a fantastic place and its right on your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and helpful and provide plenty of free refreshments for adults and children. I have used other local pottery workshops but found the prices here are a great deal cheaper than anywhere else.
There is plenty on offer including ceramic painting or wooden craft colouring and they also offer a good selection of workshops for you to go along and learn something new including creating your own cards etc. So if you are feeling creative go and have a look, you wonʼt be disappointed.

Whatever you are looking for in a craft shop Oh Goody has - a well-stocked show room, competitive prices, friendly staff, free car parking and tea and coffee! I can especially recommend the ceramic painting - wonderfully relaxing and great fun. Or try one of the workshops and learn something new - there is always something on offer to tempt you.

I am addicted to this, it is such a great place. You can truly loose yourself for a couple of hours and have something creative and unique at the end of it. I thoroughly enjoy visiting and spending a couple of hours painting ceramics. With lots of items to choose from I find I have many reasons for return visits, photo frames, money boxes, trinket boxes, plates, cups ... you name it they have it all there ready for you to simply add your own design. You can be as creative as you like, painting masterpieces, or if like me you cant draw for toffee you can trace something on and simply paint over it.
Baby footprints and toddler hand prints on mugs, plates, and photo frames are a great gift and a unique way of capturing memories before the little ones grow.
At Christmas they have special seasonal items and the kids love to see their own creations on the mantle at home.
With the great British weather being so unpredictable this is a great treat to plan for the kids (of all ages) that wont be spoilt by rain.
You are even served with a drink.. what more could you ask for...
well if you still want more, they also have a craft shop with a fantastic selection of items for all crafts, a great selection of scrapbooking pages, embellishments, stamps, cards, stickers etc. The choice is excellent.
To top it all off the owners are lovely, making you feel very welcome and ensuring that your visit is a delight.

A great place for all ages

I first used this business before christmas to make some mugs for the people in my office which is down the road. After a lunch hour I had created 4 fantastic mugs ready for collection in a few days time.

I was also amazed at the variety of different arts & craft supplies available in their very well stocked shop. I will now be creating my own cards for Birthdays, seasonal holidays etc. The staff are full of creative ideas and will be more than happy to help with ideas and suggestions for your loved ones and any special occasions.

An absolute must-visit for anyone that has ever thought of letting out their creative selfs! Itʼs so much easier than you might think and the results are amazing!

Oh! Goody is an excellent craft shop with a great range of materials and a very friendly atmosphere. The workshops I have attended have been easy to follow and therefore very enjoyable and they really are good value for money.
The ceramic painting is good fun too with plenty to choose from; I spent a really relaxing evening at the breast cancer fundraiser creating my masterpiece! In addition to this my son recently had his birthday party in one of the workshops where he and nine of his friends had a great time painting and afterwards playing some party games that we organised. The staff were very helpful and attentive to the children throughout and they all had a fantastic time.
Oh! Goody is a great place to visit either on your own or with children and I would thoroughly recommend it.

My son and I had a lovely time here at Oh Goodyʼs - it had been recommended by several friends and I wish I had tried it sooner! we canʼt wait to go back. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. A must do if you fancy something different with your children and I hope to try one of their ladies evenings with a glass of wine soon too!
