Home Information Packs (HIPs):

Introduced by the Government, HIPs have been compulsory for the sale of all properties since 2007 and are designed to improve the buying and selling process. An HIP contains all the necessary legal documentation pertaining to the sale of a property, an Energy Performance Certificate and, often, a Home Condition Report.

For buyers, an HIP provides important information about a property and it's energy efficiency. Sellers too benefit from a Home Information Report which reduces the likelihood of 'nasty surprises' later on, delaying the sale of their property.

Home Condition Reports (HCRs):

Energy Performance Certificates for Commercial Properties:

Compulsory since 2008 for all commercial proprties sold, let or newly built. NBHI provide a fast, efficient service to businesses in Clacton on Sea and the surrounding area.
