Few dance schools offer the technical skill or expressive pleasure of the Julia Spencer School of Dance in Clacton-on-Sea. From a beginners dance class right through to a professional standard dance class, there are classes for all ability levels in a wide range of dance styles. If you'd like to learn classic Ballroom Dancing, spicy Latin American and Salsa Dancing or Modern Styles, the Julia Spencer School of Dance have outstanding classes for you at their large studios in Clacton-on-Sea and Harwich. Nor is age a factor with the Julia Spencer School of Dance currently teaching students from just 4 years old, right through to 84.
The Julia Spencer School of Dance has five excellent teachers available to develop each pupil's abilities, whether dancing socially or competitively. Julia herself started dancing at age 5 and is a licentiate member of ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance), having run her own school since 2001. With skills in Latin American and Ballroom Dancing, as well as Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance, and 30 years of teaching dance classes behind her, there are few teachers better qualified.
The Julia Spencer School of Dance offers dancing for all at their dance school on Oxford Road, Clacton-on-Sea (just behind Topps Tiles), and for children at Harwich's Park Pavillion, also running after school classes at Holland Haven School. Every year the dance school holds Summer and Christmas Balls, a smattering of social dance events throughout the year, and competitions, parties and presentations for the children. ISTD exams, medals and grades are available too, for both children & adults. The school currently trains the reigning national Ballroom and Latin Junior champion and offers training and qualifications for professional examinations. Past students have also included national champions in disco and rock 'n' roll. The Julia Spencer School of Dance really is an exceptional dance school.
