One of Clacton-on-Sea's best animal welfare societies, Clacton Animal Aid Sanctuary, are looking for anyone who can offer their time, money or a good home for a dog or cat.
Regrettably there is no shortage of stray or homeless animals for animal welfare societies to find good homes for. Sometimes an animal's owner might die, or their circumstances dramatically change, leaving no one to look after their pets. More saddening is that sometimes people just throw out unwanted animals. So it falls to animal welfare societies to rescue these unfortunates and shelter them prior to rehoming.
Clacton Animal Aid Sanctuary in Clacton-on-Sea have been rescuing stray cats & dogs for two decades, providing high quality surroundings and a happy environment for dogs and cats prior to finding them permanent good homes. A bequest has enabled them to purchase their own home behind Kinfauns Vets but to continue rescuing they still need donations and volunteers to help look after their disadvantaged animals. Assistance is required at the shelter for cats in the mornings and dogs all day. Of course Clacton Animal Aid Sanctuary are principally looking for suitable, loving homes for the many dogs and cats they rescue.

If you would like to meet the animals themselves viewing of our feline friends is between 10am and noon with 10am to 2pm viewing for canine companions, both 7 days a week.
