It's time to bring these testimonials up to date! Cafe 19 is STILL the place to go in Frinton whatever you are looking for. Whether it's coffee and cake,a light lunch, a full 3 course or a single dish you will receive the same friendly service and great value. On a warm day the shady outdoor space is a treat - if you're lucky enough to find an empty table! They certainly deserve their popularity.
Every time I visit Cafe 19 the staff are always pleasant and helpful, even though they are obviously very busy with a restaurant that to my knowledge has never been even close to empty. Just a stones throw from Frinton on Sea beach front I canʼt recommend a better place for a relaxing cup of coffee and a chin wag.
Cafe 19 is without a doubt worth a visit! It has not only serves the most fantastic food with a good varied selection on the menu but also has a great atmosphere and is very child friendly which can be quite hard to find.The food is not only great but very reasonably priced so eating there with the family is not going to break the bank.The staff are also amazing and very friendly and nothing is any trouble!
I was lucky enough to experience Cafe 19ʼs first Steak Night - it was a great evening all round but most importantly, the food was superb. A good choice of starters, including their excellent fish soup, leads gently into the steak, with a selection of meats and sauces. Better still, you can choose between new potatoes or chips and if some members of your party arenʼt into meat, thereʼs always vegetarian options. If youʼve got room afterwards (and I found it too hard to resist!), thereʼs a delicious dessert menu and I nearly forgot the organic wines which are great, so get a taxi when you go!Sharon and Andrew & their staff really do look after their diners and a convivial relaxed atmosphere makes for a fantastic evening. What better way to spend a Saturday eveningʽ Iʼll certainly be going again.
We think this is the best place ever! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice from the varied menu and specials board. Great chefs, quality ingredients equals delicious food (at a very reasonable price too!). The owners are lovely people who always make you feel so special - they value their customers and really want to do their best for you. Where did we go without them. A must to visit if you are in Frinton.
Whenever I find myself in the area I cannot resist Cafe 19, it never disappoints. Smashing food and so reasonably priced. This is a child friendly restaurant too!
A fantastic restaurant with delicious food at very reasonable prices. Cafe 19 has a relaxed ambience and a welcoming atmosphere. I love eating there.
