We stumbled upon Jacks on a rainy afternoon during our Gloucestershire winter break and were drawn in by the impressive selection and size of baked goods on the counter. After a very pleasant lunch we enjoyed the cakes which were as delicious as they looked. The service was friendly and it was an overall a nice experience. Highly recommended for lunch, coffee and cake.

We discovered Jack's by passing it and looking in. The fact that it seemed popular, the cakes looked wonderful and the position was good decided us upon lunch. We had what both of us described as the best quiche (broccoli) we have ever had and told the staff so. And the salad that accompanied it was really lovely and very thoughtful. We each had a sandwich to go for our return home and a single slice of coffee walnut cake, which was so big that half was left in the fridge for the next day. All the food was divine and the service was really excellent. Jack's was so good you can't help telling everyone about it!

Dropped in for coffee and cakes on Saturday afternoon. Service with a smile, lovely coffee, lovely cake and the four young staff were busy cleaning when they weren't serving instead of standing around chatting. How refreshing. Five Star *****.
