Close to Hurn Airport in Christchurch (click here to find us), the River Stour provides a scenic backdrop for golfers taking advantage of our year round golf course facility . Visitors to the Christchurch area are especially welcome.
The Golf Course
The Golf Course is a pay and play, level, nine hole (18 tee) par 68. Built on soil, it drains very well and is therefore available all year round. You'll need to find the fairways if you want to score well. After a comfortable start over the first three holes there is a more difficult short par 3 containing a bunker and water hazard. Then it's on to the double dog-leg at the 5th with the River Stour on the right handside and ditches close to the green - making a five can be cause for celebration as a really good drive is required to make the green. Then onto the older holes where a par 4 demands accuracy, rather than length. This is a golf course providing a really enjoyable test, one that's wonderful for the short game!
The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is friendly, comfortable and well equipped with a fully licensed lounge and spikes bar. Suitable for functions, it can accommodate celebration parties for weddings and other events - barbecues are always popular as are our Sunday Roasts! Take time to relax in the Flowered Patio area with a refreshing drink before and after your round of golf.
