If you’re looking for ways to raise money for a local charity, school etc, why not consider taking part in this year’s Raft Racing event at The Chippenham River Festival?
Last year’s festival was such a success that event organisers are planning something much bigger and much better for 2010.
Taking part on August Bank holiday weekend at Monkton Park, there is expected to be a full programme of events including:
· Canoe Boat Races;
· Demonstration Swimming;
· Chuffy Land Train;
· Street Artists;
· River Walks;
· Punch and Judy;
· Adrenelin Zone;
· Kids Zone;
· And much more!
The raft racing will start at 10 am and finish at 5 pm or shortly after, with an hour’s break for lunch.
