Christmas is getting closer and today online retailers are predicting their busiest internet shopping day of the year.
The first Monday in December is considered the peak and one-day sales are expected to top £350 million, with the busiest hour between 1pm and 2pm.
Having braved the crowds in town over the weekend, I can see why the thought of doing your Christmas shopping online would seem appealing, but do bear in mind that we must all support our local Chippenham independent businesses and retailers to keep the town thriving.
