La Nativite du Seigneur, br Olivier Messiaen, is a suite of nine pieces based on the nativity of Christ. It consists of some of the most profound and complex compositons in the organist's repertoire. Sophie Hacker has created nine fascinating paintings, nine Icons of the Incarnation, inspired by her own reactions to listening to the music.
