Bands, mountain bike racers, extreme sports & frisbee golf will be among the highlights of a new weekend-long event in North Derbyshire this weekend.

Visitors will get free admission to the first ever ExpoSure event at Birchall Estate Golf Course, Unstone this Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September.  Over 20 acts will be airing their talents on 3 stages in a fun-filled weekend for all the family.

A chainsaw artist, birds of prey, the national yo-yo champion, face painting and the VK Hot Air Balloon are just some of the attractions on offer.

The event will include a village fete put on by Unstone Playground Group which will include medieval stocks & a coconut shy.

Donut Creative Arts (Saturday) and Directions Theatre Arts (Sunday) are providing young performers which will be blended with recognised bands and artistes.

In the crowd a London-based record label and other talent spotters are looking for the best thing in music and entertainment.

Local music teacher Jim Palfreyman heads up the team running the music and entertainment.  Jim said,

"This is the first year of ExpoSure. We are aiming to use a festival format to show off unsigned, as well as local, talent to the movers and shakers, and let everyone have a good time doing it.  Mixing musc with sport, such as mountain biking, and family entertainment will attract a broad audience. So whether you're coming to watch the sport or the music, and whether you're part of a family, in a group of friends, or by yourself, let's pray for good weather and let the good times roll!"

The estate opens at midday on the Saturday.

Car Parking is £1 all day. The outdoor stages close at 9pm with entertainment continuing indoors into the night.

Live entertainment on Sunday starts at 12.30pm and closes at 7pm.
