Established in 1936 by tea trade specialist, Arthur Pogson, Northern Tea Merchants has a long and fascinating history.
Renowned for being one of the first tea companies in the UK to manufacture tea bags, Northern Tea Merchants began by delivering tea door to door.
Having grown significantly over the years, this family run business is now run by James Pogson (Arthur's Grandson) and boasts:

380 tonnes of Coffee roasted per year
81 tonnes of Organic Fair Trade Cocoa contract packed per year.
