Just wanted to mail and say thanks for a great first visit. Customers often find time to complain but not usually to compliment and so am taking 5 minutes out to comment on our visit to Tommy’s. My 15 year old son , Charlie has been growing his hair long for a while and wanted a change. he was nervous about taking the plunge, as was I in view of the sensitive nature of teenage self image!! We needn’t have worried. Calum, who cut Charlie's hair did an excellent job and seemed to take a lot of pride and effort in what he was doing. We were very impressed. The cut is brilliant and Charlie has had loads of compliments, thankfully he likes it too! I would also like to say that I don’t usually enjoy a trip to the salon but everyone at Tommy’s made us feel welcome, especially Faye who was friendly and attentive - Charlie still cant get over his coffee being brought to him as he had his hair cut - not the usual customer service at the barbers he is used to! When we left the salon the hairdresser at the wash bowl even shouted bye, after looking at the website I now know this was Amie Anyway, big thumbs up from us and we shall certainly be returning as will a number of our friends I'm sure. Tommy's are the best salon I have ever visited and i've done my fair share of moving between salons. Now that i've found Tommy's my wandering days are over. The salon is fantastic, excellent parking in Chester!!! and I feel really special walking up to the private door and ringing the bell. My stylist Amie is brilliant and always makes me feel really important and good about myself. I can't stress how relaxed I feel every time i'm in the salon regardless of what is going on in my life. Their attention to details is fantastic and they're always looking for ways to make my visit even better. They've just launched a client loyalty programme called hairmiles which not only entitles me to little treats and surprises in the salon but also allows me to flash my card in other business such as The Living Room, The Grosvenor Spa to receive some excellent offers and deals - how cool is that? Thank you Tommy's, you're the best!!!!

I rang the doorbell to get access to the salon, which I thought was very posh! I walked into a salon which felt very homely, but very modern and bright. Staff where extremely helpful, and made me feel welcome straight away. I was offered a very good range of refreshments, and the young lady that attended to me was cheery and made me feel at ease as I discussed my previous nightmares with hairdressers (believe me I have had a few!) To help me relax she offered me a head ritual (not sure if that’s the correct term). It was AMAZING, relaxing and de-stressing after my long day! My consultation with Tommy was exactly what I needed from a hairdresser, he listened to everything I told him about how I deal with my hair, my job, my lifestyle etc (I’m very busy and don’t really do much with my hair in the morning!) I felt like a VIP coming from there, the amazing head massage whilst I was having my hair washed, and the vibrating and massaging chairs are incredible!! Tommy and the staff were professional, but in a very friendly and comfortable way. My hair, has just been so easy to manage since the appointment and even though I just ‘wash and go’ so to speak, it has a great shape, and the products recommended have really made a difference to the feel of my hair after just a week! High praise to a little oasis of calm in a busy city!

Hi Tommy & team, Many thanks for the 1st issue of The Lounge enewsletter. It is a great way to keep in contact with your clients being very informative and professional. I'm not surprised that you continue to win the top awards so keep up the good work. I thoroughly enjoyed my first two visits to your salon and walked out each time feeling as if I was walking on air due entirely to Ruth the first time and Kaz the second plus the shampoo staff. All your staff are excellent and the ambiance of the salon is superb making every visit a very pleasurable experience.
