I have used this nursery for my childcare for the last 5 years - both of my children started at 6 months old. My son still attends, and my daughter makes use of the after school and holiday club at the sister site. In all these years, there has never been any incidents or concerns about the care that our children receive; staff are always willing to discuss any issues; are always able to spend time talking to us and my husband and I trust them implicitly. They were only the second nursery that we looked at when our daughter was first born, and we didn't look any further. We knew following that visit that we would be happy for our daughter to go there, even at at the tender age of 6 months old. Their care is based on good family morals. I have recommended them and I will continue to do so. Well done to all the staff on both sites (Hoole and Bell Meadow). They work exceptionally hard and deserve all credit given to them.

We chose the Spinney Bell Meadow a few months ago for our toddler after having seen a couple of other nurseries that just didn't 'feel' right. Within a very short period of time our daughter was running into nursery, and we've even had a few occasions where we can't get her to leave - which is testament to how happy she is! Alison, Louise and the team are fantastic with the children, very hands-on and they really to engender a family atmosphere of fun and happiness. Nothing is ever too much bother, in the early days when we were understandably anxious about leaving our daughter, they were fantastic, and positively encouraged us to check in on her. I would advise anyone looking for a nursery to pop in and look around - they welcome visitors at any time.

One of the most important decisions you will make is choosing the right nursery for your child and we certainly did that for Thomas with the Spinney Nursery. They really embed a family ethos which the children can relate to and the children are classed as children not a number or a means to a profit. The buildings are kept clean and the food is all made fresh on sight. We really appreciated the recent open day that was run which gave us an opportunity to review our child's development folder and meet the key worker. It was great to see such a variety of activities that the children do each day. The Spinney is passionate about development which will see Thomas well prepared for his coming years in Pre School and primary etc. Professional, Clean, Family, Trusting, Development, Attentive, Superb. A real winner and a clear demonstration of how things should be done well first time and every time.

Having thoroughly researched all nurseries in Chester, I decided upon the Spinney Bell Meadow for my little girl. The care the children receive is fantastic, all members of staff are very friendly and know my daughter by name. The management team are great and did all they could to help settle my little girl in. I arrived unannounced a number of times and stayed several times whilst settling my daughter into the nursery-all this is encouraged. The building is very clean but adorned with paintings and photos with lots of newish but well-used toys. Well done to Alison, John and deputy Louise - I can't thank you and your fab team enough. PS - the food always smells lovely!!

The care provided is the best that any parent could wish for. Our son started attending at 18 weeks of age, the staff & management have become like family members over the last 6 and a half years. Nothing seems to be too much trouble in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all the children in their care. One very recent example of this was during the very adverse weather conditions we experienced in Chester. My car was snowed/iced in and I was unable to get to The Spinney to collect Michael - there was a 2 hour wait for any taxi services. The driving conditions were really difficult due to the snow drifts that had been non-stop for several hours. Understandably I was distraught, but John Thomson, the owner, drove my son home. My son arrived home calm and happy. This I do not feel would have happened with any other childcare provider. My sincerest thanks.
