We stock a range of over 300 authentic Italian, artisan products in our delicatessen and store - any of which can be selected to create a bespoke gourmet hamper. Many of the products are still made by using time-honoured traditional techniques - such as the fresh Pesto sauce which is outstanding.
Olio & Farina Shop
The shop offers customers the opportunity to sample a range of delicious products before buying and the experienced staff can help suggest recipe ideas and advise on wine choices to accompany food. With rustic tables, eye-catching displays and unusual products, browsing the store for inspiration is a real pleasure.
Refilling Corner
Beautiful terracotta amphorae dispense a range of flavoured oils and vinegars using refillable glass bottles of various sizes and styles. Dipping bread is always available so you can sample each oil or vinegar before you buy. When you have used up your bottle, bring it back in and have it refilled at the lower cost.
Fresh Products
Olio & Farina operate a farm just outside Pisa under the careful supervision of Paolo Parisi. Prosciutto, Bresaola, Finnocchiona and a number of other salamis and meats are produced here and are critically acclaimed for their quality and superb flavour.
Additionally you can purchase the finest Mozzarella together with Parmesan, Gorgonzola and many other Italian cheeses, sausage, breads and sauces.
Olio & Farina Deli Café
The Olio & Farina Café is located in an original vault to the rear of the store and offers a tranquil, candle-lit refuge from the bustle outside. Here you can enjoy a little "Taste of Italy" - simple, rustic produce that can also be purchased in the store.
The menu features classic Anti-pasti and Pasta dishes and a mouth-watering meat and cheese platter which is a feast for the eyes as well as the appetite. Perhaps best of all the coffee is "the finest in Chester" according to many loyal customers.
