Mitchells of Chester Guest House is a wonderfully elegant house, owned and run by Helen & Colin Mitchell. The house, which dates back to the 1850's, has been carefully restored to its original Victorian beauty whilst incorporating many modern comforts.
The Mitchells of Chester House was built in the 1850’s, has steeply pitched slated roofs, a sweeping staircase and tall rooms with moulded cornices, providing a setting for many items of antique furniture. A large banqueting table forms the centre piece of the Dining Room.

The Lounge looks out and down to unusual brick vaults tunnelling 3.00m under a quiet well maintained garden to the rear of the house. It has reading and video libraries each side of an open log fire in an original marble surround. We also have off street parking.
The Guest bedrooms have been individually decorated, furnished in period style and include a fully equipped shower room and toilet. All bedrooms have:
