The impressive dining room can easily accommodate 76 diners indoors, while the outside terrace provides the best open-air dining option in the city for a further 26 covers directly overlooking Chester's famous racecourse.
Here modern contemporary design complements perfectly my own style of modern European cuisine based on classic techniques honed at Gidleigh Park, and utilising the finest produce from the North West.
The Restaurant serves Michael's award-winning modern British cuisine utilising the best local and regional produce.
Stuart Collins, our ABode Chester Executive Chef, who worked with me at Gidleigh Park, and then with Gordon Ramsay first in London and then in New York, oversees the kitchen to deliver truly exciting, brilliant and consistent cuisine.

In addition to the à la carte and tasting menus, the Restaurant features the acclaimed Michael Caines dining concept of "grazing menus", whereby smaller portions of dishes from the à la carte menu can be enjoyed in either our fabulous modern British Restaurant or more informally in the Champagne Bar.
Private dining is available, and the entire 5th floor can be booked for exclusive use for upwards of 240 guests.
