I've stayed in several Hilton Hotels and I have to say this is one of the best, I would even say beats the high American standards of a 'Hilton' hotel. Our Standard room was very modern, clean and extremely comfortable (comfy beds and fridge in room). Staff are helpful and friendly which was refreshing. Breakfast was great and the spa facilities were great too. About 5/10 mins drive from the town centre. I’d love to stay here again. Shelley
We arrived at the hotel and was warmly greeted with a hot cookie. The reception was very modern. We were shown to our suite. The suite was lovely, very big modern room. Very very clean, bathroom was spacious and had a walk in shower and bath. You could listen to the tv in the bath as there were speakers in the bathroom. Bed very comfortable and massive! We had dinner with cocktails in the lounge which was very nice maybe a bit pricey. Just wish the spa was open when we went - it is now. Would stay again. Definately recommend a suite! Seh
Stayed here with 3 friends as we were going to Chester races. The outside of the hotel was fab huge gardens, fountains and gazebos. Reception area was packed but we were dealt with quickly and efficiently, we were early by 2 hours for check in but as we had pre paid we just signed in so we didn't have 2 do it in the evening. All the public areas in the hotel were immaculate and you could tell it had recently been renovated to an excellent standard. Rooms were huge, clean, bright and airy, with 2 single beds (which were soooooo comfy ), flat screen wall mounted, desk area, mirrored wardrobes (with tea and coffee making facilities in), chair and randomly a leather lounger 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!. The bathroom was lovely too with amazing power shower. Really couldn’t fault this hotel for the money and it was only £6 pounds to the racecourse too. We will definately be returning next year. Mel
We attended Marco's place for the occasion of his latest book launch, and had a great time! Parking was easy, the welcome was warm, and the staff were fantastic. We had a Bellini cocktail on arrival, followed by a starter of Leek Veloute with chicken oysters and a crispy shallot. This was followed by Goosnargh Duck breast, confit leg, beetroot and crab apple served with apple blossom. There was a quick break as we had chance to chat to Marco while he signed our books, and then a gorgeously runny dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream.Espressos and sweets were followed by a further chat with Marco to thank him for the evening. Then it was off home for gin! Perfection.Tablesurfer, Lymm
