Our Advice

Aticus Recovery Limited offer the services of Dan Hennessy, an experienced Chartered Accountant who will understand the company's financial issues and be in a position to offer immediate advice.

Dan Hennessy has 25 years' experience in business corporate recovery and insolvency. He worked for the Liverpool office of Ernst & Young for 12 years until 1996. He subsequently worked on a sub-contract basis for a number of years dealing with large national corporate receiverships.

Since 2003, he has worked in the North West as an appointment taking Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in small firms predominately dealing with owner-managed businesses.

His focus is to provide an individually tailored solution to businesses in financial difficulties. He believes that other options exist as an alternative to insolvency and these need to be fully explored prior to the commencement of any insolvency process.

He has dealt with many business asset sales to directors and will deal with pre-pack sale of assets compliant with the SIP 16 guidelines.

Our Service

Aticus Recovery Limited has been set up to provide a service to local accountants and their clients to deal with the company's financial problems. Dan Hennessy is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner capable of accepting the liquidation, administration or Supervisor's appointment, if deemed appropriate.

The range of advice will be to provide assistance to re-finance / re-structure the business or alternatively to recommend an insolvency procedure.

The aim of the advice is to preserve your current financial position and hopefully improve the financial security of the company and the individual.

Early advice is recommended to maximise the options available for recovery. This initial advice is confidential, free from cost or commitment. This meeting can be held at our offices, your premises, or at your accountant's offices.

Rescue

The Insolvency Act 2006 began the legislative process to encourage the rescue of businesses. Further assistance was provided in the Enterprise Act 2002. This simplified the administration process and gave greater strength to the CVA process, click here to read more.

Technical
