Community Support Services
Community Liaison Officers offer confidential 1-1 support for older people with a wide variety of problems.
Befriending Service
Vetted Befrienders visit older people for a chat or to accompany them on outings or visits to the shops.
Transport Service
4 fully equipped disabled person vehicles are available.
Handyman Service
Help with small jobs around the home is available.
Road to Recovery Service
For older people recovering after a hospital stay or from illness we can provide help with light domestic work, shopping, accompanying to appointments and prescription collections.
Home Bathing Service
Older people can enjoy the comfort of a bath in their own home under the discreet care of trained staff.
Gardening Service
If you are unable to maintain your own garden and receive benefits, we can arrange for a gardener to carry out simple tasks.
Books on Wheels
If you are housebound and unable to visit your local library one of our vetted volunteers can enable you to access library services.
Loan of equipment
Such as wheelchairs and electric scooters.
