The National Star College is a specialist college which helps young people with severe disabilities and acquired brain injuries to realise their dreams and aspirations. All of the young people they support have complex physical and learning disabilities and face many challenges. Through a holistic approach, the college enables them to recognise and achieve their full potential as equal and active citizens, and equips them to accomplish their goals. They get the skills they need to lead independent lives and focus on what they can do rather than what they can’t do.
Strictly Star is a dance show and competition featuring well-known personalities who are partnered with professional dancers. Rowena Dandy has been challenged with learning a very fast Lindy Hop routine which will be performed at the Everyman Theatre on Saturday 20th September 2014. Rowena's goal is to raise £3,000 over the next 3 months and she would really appreciate any support you could possibly give her.
