Sleeping Easy this Friday to help the young and homeless in Cheltenham

Sleep Easy, the second of its kind in Cheltenham, takes place at the YMCA Sports Centre, in Arle Road, Cheltenham GL51 8LE.on Friday, 7th March, from 7.30pm to 7.30am on Saturday, 8th March.  Mayor Councillor Wendy Flynn, Deputy Mayor Councillor Simon Wheeler, and Councillor Pete Jeffries Cabinet Member for Housing, Safety and Communities will be taking part in this event by spending the night sleeping rough.

All money raised will go direct to Cheltenham YMCA to help provide extra rooms for homeless young people in Cheltenham.

Cllr Wendy Flynn, mayor of Cheltenham, said: “The aim is simple: get sponsored to sleep rough for one night and raise funds to help vulnerable young people. We really want to help young people in our town build a future so please join us or donate what you can to this worthwhile cause.”
