From the moment that you walk in to this elegant establishment you are greeted with warmth and decadence. The staff are welcoming and super-friendly and take the time to make your visit extremely memorable. From the pre-starter to the coffee and petit-fours each course is a wonderful surprise and always takes me by surprise. My partner and I have had many a fantastic evening here and I would recommend this business to any food-lover. It is the small family-run restaurants like this that give the people of Cheltenham a breath of fresh air away from the chain restaurants which we have grown used to. This charming restaurant will guarantee any customer a unique dining experience and a magical evening. By far my favourite restaurant in Gloucestershire!

It was my wife's birthday and we celebrated at your Restaurant with my son and his wife. This is the second time we have been to your Restaurant and the second time we have been absolutely thrilled with the quality (and quantity) of your food - the between course tasters are a delight and each course is cooked to perfection. Without doubt having eaten regularly at Le Petit Blanc, Hotel Du Vin, The Greenway and many other top quality restaurants in Cheltenham, yours has become our out and out favourite.

Whilst I realise that the credit crunch is hitting hard, I feel you really must do something to spread the message about the quality of your Restaurant. Sadly on our visit last week, we were only one of four tables being occupied and I cannot believe that this is any reflection on you. If there is anything I can do to assist, feel free to contact me - I would be happy to give a reference, quote etc.

Keep up the good work - your food is definitely on the right lines and needed in Cheltenham.

Dining with you on Saturday evening was a fantastic experience and I wanted to thank you for the superb personal service. Having left it rather late to book a table, I’ll admit that Lumiere wasn’t our first choice but will certainly be so in the future. Our plans were further complicated by the sudden illness of one of our friends and Mark and I dithered a bit as we considered cancelling the whole table. How delighted we are that we didn’t! The friends who were able to join us at last minute were thrilled and we all agree it was a memorable evening.
The ability of a restaurant to cope with tricky personal requests (such as a dislike of milk and cheese!) at such short notice is commendable, to do so without anyone feeling “short changed” the more so. Every part of the tasting menu was delicious and we will talk about the parsnip foam and accompanying candy floss for quite some time.
Sincere thanks to you both (all?) for making our evening so memorable. We look forward to our next visit.
