Set on a beautiful 50-acre site, Dean Close in Cheltenham is a long-standing co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2-18. It is one of the area's leading independent schools.

Dean Close is an incredibly busy place; recently the Chapel Choir sang Mass in Nôtre Dame, the CCF camped in Shropshire winning best performing school, rugby teams toured New Zealand & the Cook Islands and Classics pupils visited Italy. The School's theatre company performed, yet again, at the Edinburgh Festival.
With some 490 pupils, the School is small enough to allow everyone to know one another and to feel valued. It also allows everyone to get fully involved in the life of the School. The powerful tutorial system means that each pupil is mentored and nurtured by an adult whom they get to know well.
However, the School is large enough to have an extremely strong boarding community, vibrant and exciting creative arts, impressive academic results and great sports results; in April, the boys 1st XI hockey team became National Champions beating other schools and colleges to gain this honour.
