Meet the Artist, all welcome Thursday 25 June 6 - 9pm. Mary-Anne Morrison is a textile artist working to explore the concept of rhythm, aiming to create pieces inspired by the Japanese forms and processes that investigate notions of strength, movement and tension through a manipulation of paper, fabric and thread. Repeated substances are central to Mary-Anne's practice: all the works involve aspects of stitching, weaving, folding, joining, tying or pleating.
Interior Angle, art design Gallery, Chelmsford are exhibiting six collections of textile art by Mary-Anne Morrison.
