Now recognised as experts in event catering, Essex based Plenty of Thyme was created in late 2016 by Dave Double out of a passion for food and service. Having worked in restaurants, hotels and large scale catering venues since 2000 it was time to setup on his own.
In a short time we have grown ten fold and have quickly made a name for ourselves, recently winning Best Independent Caterer at the Essex Wedding awards 2020. We have a large catering premises near Billericay which has been awarded 5* Hygiene rating from Chelmsford City Council. We also have £5,000,000 Public liability insurance and all our chefs and waiting staff have a minimum of level 2 food hygiene training.
