Caring for Life is at the centre of our charity's philosophy at Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford. We care for the lives of individuals and their families in and around Chelmsford who have been touched by cancer or other life limiting illnesses. It’s about extra-ordinary people who give their time to care for others; about adding life to days, even when days can’t be added to life. As a charity, we are the sole provider of hospice care in Mid-Essex and our huge range of charitable services are offered completely free of charge.
At Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford we care for people with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. At a time when it can feel that nothing may be the same again we are there to help. We recognise that our patients do not only experience physical symptoms, but have social, emotional and spiritual needs as well. We care not just for the patient but for their families and friends as well.
Everything we do here at Farleigh Hospice is designed to enrich the lives of the patients we care for and to provide them with dignity. Our aim is to enable them to continue living until they die and to ensure that their relatives are able to live on.
