Fans of the great late Freddie Mercury and Queen are in for a treat when top tribute band, The Bohemians visit Carmarthen. They’ll be strutting their stuff at the Lyric Theatre on July 25.

There’s some great entertainment coming up at the Ffwrnes Theatre, in Llanelli next month. Ready to make you laugh out loud with his show celebrating 30 years on the stage is the legendary female impersonator, Ceri Dupree. He’ll be there on Friday, July 17, at 7.30pm to show you a whole host of stars from around the world.
It’s the biggest countryside event in Wales and it’s an action-packed weekend with masses of entertainment for the whole family. The Welsh Game Fair will be held at Pembrey Country Park on June 20 and 21. There’s so much going on over the two days, here’s a brief idea of the programme:
There’s a great festival for fans of jazz, blues and soul coming to west Wales this summer. From July 3 to 5 the little town of Llandeilo will be filled with fantastic music -- and there are events for all the family too, as well as fab local food. And it’s sponsored by Evan-Evans Brewery, so there will be excellent beer and plenty of it! A weekend ticket is only £10, and kids go free.

It is a fantastic place to visit anytime of the year, but Spring at Dinefwr is truly spectacular and there are plenty of events going on throughout May. Choose from tours of Newton House, a visit to an art exhibition, join a badger watch or wander in the woods to see ancient trees and fantastic natural displays of bluebells.
A marathon of movies showing over four full days should be enough to keep the most avid film fan happy. The fourth Carmarthen Bay Film Festival will do just that from 11am on Tuesday, May 12th to 6pm on Friday, May 15th. .
There is plenty to do in Carmarthenshire this Easter. The county is full of attractions to suit the most demanding of families.
