I am a partner in the family farm. My husband has always used quick books for the farm accounts. Earlier in the year he upgraded to the newest version and experienced all sorts of problems , particularly in relation to calculating his VAT return, to the point where he had regressed to a manual ledger. I decided that this was unacceptable so when Clive mentioned training in one of his 60 second slots I decided to grasp the nettle. I was a little concerned about how the training would be provided i.e. would Rod have to attend a classroom type course which would mean taking a day out of the farm and also complicate arrangements for getting the children to and from school? How much of the training would be useful and meet our actual needs? From the outset the speed with which this request was dealt with was very impressive. A woman made telephone contact and discussed the problems Rod was having. She quickly identified what the problems might be and discussed possible solutions. The phone call was followed up by a CD and this in turn was followed by 1:1 tuition at the farm. The VAT return is due at the end of September and I feel confident that we can submit this secure in the knowledge that the system is working and meeting our business needs. This also represents excellent value for money as the estimate of the costs was very modest. Our faith in quick books has also been restored as many business associates have been critical of our choice of software.
We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Telemat for IT training.
