Established in 1885, Llangennech Rugby Football Club has played in every season with only the two World Wars breaking the run.
The main playing ground in Pontardulais Road, Llangennech, has been improved over time and recent years has seen the introduction of training lights and modern changing rooms.
Teams
Llangennech Rugby Football Club has two senior teams, the First XV play in the WRU National League Division 1 West and the Development XV play in the very competitive Carmarthenshire Tyre Services Championship.
In all there are over 100 registered junior players, 28 youth and 68 senior players.
This, along with vice-presidents, patrons, members, officers and committee brings the total club membership close to 400.
Club House
As well as being a successful Rugby Club, Llangennech Rugby Football Club has a full and varied social calendar.
With two large Projection Screens as well as Plasma screens strategically placed around the club, they also have SKYSPORTS.

Membership
New members are always welcome at Llangennech Rugby Football Club.
Membership can be paid at the club house where you will receive a membership booklet that will admit you to all League and Friendly games.
International Ticket Allocation
Any members requiring tickets for the 2011/12 Internationals should contact the Secretary at least 6 weeks before the date of the game with his/her membership number.
This will entitle a member to have his/her name officially entered into the draw for tickets.
Tickets allocation will be distributed by the club committee at least 2 weeks before the game to ALL PAID UP MEMBERS.
