Just a little note to say thank you so much for your help and inspiration in getting me to pass my test. I really don't feel I could have achieved what I have without all your understanding. I really feel like you took the time to get to know me and my individual style and that ultimately is what got me through it all. Everyone should have a driving instructor like you!

Drive-tec (Carmarthen) is fantastic! I highly recommend my instructor Deirdre Sutherland, she is everything a great teacher is, patient, understanding and easy going yet highly professional. Every lesson she has brought an amazing sense of humour. She will challenge and softly push you while al the while helping you gain confidence. She is the best choice for anyone looking to learn to drive. I've had a wonderful transformation from a nervous wreck to comfortably confident behind the wheel and it's all thanks to her approach.

I was extremely satisfied with the way I was taught. Emma was an excellent instructor and helped me build my confidence after failing my test with another instructor. Nothing was to much trouble for her and she even went to the effort of dropping off homework for me at home on occasion. My mother and I found the homework very beneficial as I was then able to practise outside of the driving lessons. Emma has patience, humour and determination in bucket loads and is ideal as a driving instructor!

Lessons were far more fun, friendly and enjoyable than I expected them to be. During my course of lessons I felt slightlyfrstrsted by numerous fellow learners saying things like "You've had HOW many lessons and you're only doing THIS?!" However in hindsight, i'm very glad i had more lessons and passed first time, as opposed to several stressful and failed retests. I'm also immensely glad that unlike a friend, i wasn't crossing dual carriageways on my first lesson!!
Although I was pushed,i do not remember any serious "Oh my god we're al going to die !! moments. I can't speak for Emma enough!! I would like to congratulate he on her immense patience for putting up with my so called "quirkiness" for so long. I never met anyone quite like Emma. i learnt a lot from her and will miss her very much.

My husband recommended drive tec after having received excellent training from Deidre.I gave her a call and she told me that Emma Byrne would be my instructor.I took lessons from Emma and found her to be patient, intuitive ,confidence-inspiring and a very encouraging instructor.She was flexible with lesson slots, worked round my job schedule and took personal interest in my progress.The lessons were set out and organized very well and helped build up my skills so I passed the practical test in the first attempt!All thanks to the very professional service of Drive tec and Emma Byrne..I would highly highly recommend them!

I really wanted a female driving instructor to learn to drive with and gave Deirdre at Drive Tec a call. She told me that my instructor would be a lady called Emma Byrne and that she would arrange an assessment lesson for me.
From the moment I got in the car with Emma I was made to feel relaxed and at ease. The lessons were extremely well structured and even when I made mistakes Emma had a knack of moving on to the next thing without focussing on what had just happened.

I left learning to drive until late in life (late 40s)and it hasnt been easy, I've had a few different driving instructors but this week I've passed my test thanks to Emma from DriveTech who's calm friendly way of teaching was just what I needed. Learning to drive never really ran in the family for me to be entirely honest. I was a nervous and timid learner to begin with, and I found it incredibly difficult to get confident and feel ready to drive. Thankfully, I learnt with drive-tec. They never pushed me to hard or put me in any situation that i couldnʼt handle, they prepared me for real driving, and gradually I became more confident on the roads.
