Have you heard about the restaurant carvery at Cwmcerrig Farm Shop and Grill? Every lunchtime, Wednesday to Sunday and Friday nights come and choose from their fabulous home produced meats: Hereford beef, lamb, pork or chicken on the carvery.
Off the A48, Carmarthen road a new kind of carvery restaurant opened in February 2009. Cwmcerrig Farm Shop & Grill offers 8000 square metres of local farm food and a sit down cafe and grill restaurant. You can enjoy a carvery of home produced and home cooked meats from Wednesday to Sunday lunchtime and now also on Friday nights until 10pm. The restaurant is also open for grill nights on Saturday until 10pm.
The Watkins family bought Cwmcerrig farm in 1952 and started producing vegetables and delivering them locally. Gradually moving their focus to livestock over the years, the farm now produces Hereford beef, lamb, pork and poultry.
Wanting to ensure markets for the next generation, Roland and his family took the decision to invest in a £900,000 farm shop and grill. The result is a first for Carmarthenshire.
