The Great British Pub is still alive. In fact here are two great ones just 15 minutes from Carlisle - the Highland Drove Inn Great Salkeld and the Cross Keys, Carleton. Call in and sample the fantastic food and drink on offer and remember that of all the public houses, bars and inns you could have visited, these are amongst the best!

A great country location for your mid-day or evening meal, and a great atmosphere too the Black Lion is one of the friendliest Public Houses, Bars and Inns in Carlisle.
