Me and my sister got our photos taken on a minishoot last year before I moved away to Leeds, and we (and our Mum!) absolutely loved them! Andrew was great and made us feel relaxed, and the prices for extra photos were amazing compared to other professional photographers I've visited before - we ended up buying 5! Definitely planning a second visit when I'm home next and would recommend to anyone :)

simply the best we had a shoot with my daughter and grandaughter for her 21st my grandaughter was very nervous but andrew had her settled in no time and the pics are brilliant . Its such a relaxed atmosphere and really friendly staff .and getting to sit at the computer right after the shoot to view them and choose shows the excellent service they provide i cant wait to go back for a full family portrait when the new 16th member arrives in june :)

Excellent Photographers! The pictures are brilliant value for money especially if you want photos of little ones! They let the children have lots of fun and the end result is great!! We will definitely keep going back again and again!

These guys are great! They are so accommodating and relaxed, even when dealing with a monkey that doesnt want to perform (aka an unhappy child). Also being open to any suggestions or tweaks you'd like to see makes for a great after service too. Add the super deals posted on Facebook and this wee company is a local gem! Give them a look in.

We have used Picture U a number of times for family shoots and the service is excellent, the people are friendly and helpfull and the quality of the photos we've had done are fantastic. The value for money is fab and quality isnt compromised. By far the best photographers we have used and will be going back in the future. :)

picture you carlisle cannot reccomend highly enough booked for my daughter to get portraits for her 21st with my grandaughter .the staff are so friendly and theres such a relaxed atmosphere they seemed to get the shots done in no time and we couldnt be more pleased not to mention their sooooooooooooooooo cheap no hidden extras here .cant wait to go back and have the whole family done together in june

I have had 2 photoshoots done at picture U now and really felt at ease. they did my first one of me and my friends and the pictures came out fab the second one i had was of me and my dog unfortunately my dog died the day after the photos and they were captured briliantly so a great reminder of him overall a lovely local company!

we booked a free mini shoot for our kids to get a up to date with the canvas the team are very professional and friendly they just let the kids be themselves and snapped away which i think is great because if you put alot of pressure on them they tend to go into themselves we were extremley pleased with the end result and even more so the price alot of places seem to be very over priced but not here abd you still get the great professionalism i would definently recomend them to anyone and would definently use them

My friends bought me an hour long shoot with PictureU for my birthday we had loads of fun posing for different photos the photographers put us all at ease and were really friendly which helped make the experience fun! The service is fab and the whole thing value for money as the prints and shoots are affordable and good quality! We were spolt for choice with the amount of pics taken and were glad when the team even put them on facebook for us! Thankyou PictureU you are def carlisles best :)

When i first had my little boy they did a photo shoot of him and my two little girls....Not only were the pictures fantastic, my children were made to feel relaxed and welcome, they enjoyed the whole experience. The price is fantastic and their customer service skills are fab. Would recommend to anybody and everybody!!!!

i love how nice the staff are. they are verry helpfull.they are a reli good business and i would love to see the business grow. they are alot better than the outher photo shops they help more and are reasnbly priced unlke some. keep up the good work

I Booked A Shoot As A Birthday Present For 3 Different Generations Of Our Family, The Staff Are Very Welcoming and Friendly and Made It All Very Relaxed. The Photos Were Lovely And We Were All Very Happy With Them! We Were Aged From 21 to 71 And All Enjoyed The Photo Shoot! I'll Be Going Back!

We have used Picture U twice and will be using them again this year. We would not use any other photographer now, the photos are absolutely fantastic and it's such a calm and relaxing atmosphere at the studio. I booked Picture U for a present for my daughter, we had an hour long shoot, they took hundreds of photos - it was hard to choose which ones we wanted - we loved them all, so bought them all! and was staggered that it was just £150 for the full CD - Thank You Picture U, the photos are fantastic! would recommend to anyone x

My husband and I recently got married and used Picture U as our photographers. From the outset the owner was professional, friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we met a couple of times before the wedding at his studio and at our wedding venue/reception to discuss the types of pictures we would like.

On the day he sent two photographers to our wedding, they were lovely guys who made us feel very comfortable when they were taking pictures which really helped as neither of us really like having our photograph taken anyway. They spent the whole day with us and captured lots of fantastic photo's, they helped to make our day and all the guests commented on what lovely, professional and friendly people they were.

The pictures were ready to view just over a week after the wedding, they had captured not only us but all of our guests enjoying themselves which was great because it brought many memories back. The pictures and service were so good that my sister booked them that day for her wedding photographers too.

They are also superb value for money and we would recomend them to anyone who wants a friendly, professional and talented photographer.

when arriving at picture u to have pictures of my 9 month old daughter taken, she was very wary and would not settle but a few games of peek a boo with the photographer and she soon settled in to the shoot they were fantastic with her and really made her feel comfortable. have recommended to many people and will continue to do :) x

I have recommended Picture U to family and friends near and far!!! I had a shoot my two children a year ago. The photos taken were commented on by so many people. Some of the shots were definately ones that I would never have got myself!! Andrew is a brilliant photographer. Brilliant with the kids and us parents!!! Everyone is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Will definitley be taking my two back for another shoot soon now that they are both a bit older. And the best part is the price. Its so good to see a top rate photographer at a price that I can afford - and i wont be the only one in thinking that!!!

i would just like to say i love Picture U. They are great with the kids and always get brill photos at the end!!!! i have now been twice to Picture U and both time were fantastic!!! No faults at all and i have been to a few photographers and Picture U are by far the best.

We have been twice now and both times the photos were excellent! we were all put at ease and even the children enjoyed thenselves- will definatly be going again! and would definatly recommend it to everybody!

Andrew recently took professional photos of my craft items for my newly created website, they were all fantatic and I can honstly say the quality of the pictures has increased sales ten fold! It was quick, easy and with excellent results, he even offered to come to my home to do the shoot, very accomodating, friendly but professional service, all in all 10 out of 10 and would most def recommend and use again!

Picture U are the best! So professional and reasonably priced. I went with my partner and our daughter to get a family photo and ended up buying 27 because they are fantastic and great prices. I went to another photographers before going to Picture U and they were charging just under 100 pounds for each photograph. My daughter had just turned 1 at the time we got our photos done and I thought it would have been hard to get some good pictures of her as she wouldnt sit still but all we had to do was play with her and the result was fantastic. Planning on going back in a few months for some more!!

They are so friendly, happy they make you chill out and be relaxed am looking forward to booking them for a shoot soon for my grandma and grandads anaversary.

I was simply confident going into the studio, to have some shots taken for a modelling firm in Norwich, (Don't believe me, find out),then in a moment, I felt a bit nervous, and my confidence changed quickly, as I entered the room. I don't know if it was a bad thing, or a good thing.

The photographer did not pressure me, (this does not mean he was bad, at all, by the way) So I started acting like a director of the shoot, sending the directions to him. He immediately got into action, and started professionally shooting. snap, snap, snap, and it brought out the best in me.

So overall the experience was just FINE. And now that's GOOD. Anyone thinking of getting their photo taken for a modelling portfolio, come and visit this place.

We first met Andrew at Carlisle Culture Bazaar in June 2008 and we got a mini shoot done. It was fab. He was so reassuring and made it fun. We've had quite a few since then and they have been fab and very affordable. Professional and friendly too.

Attended 2 photo shoots at Picture U, and thoroughly enjoyed both. We found Picture U to be very professional but the atmosphere was relaxed and natural. Would definitely return for some more shoots. The pictures were amazing, and everyone has commented on them. They produce top class photos without having to pay top prices. Thank you Picture U.

Picture U Studio creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere creates amazing and breath taking images and also provides servise with a smile.
As I went on work experience here I have to say it was an amazing experience and Andrew is a very very skilled photographer. But just to top it all off have you seen the prices?! Definitely the cheapest around! 5 Stars!!

i think this buisness is one off the best photo shops in town, the reason why is because all the staff are so helpful and friendly. also the prices are amazing when i first went to this shop i was expecting highly priced pictures ect but they were so reasonable and because of this i was able to purchase photos. also the work the staff do is very good.
