I wanted some photographs taken of my children and me as a present for my husband. Unfortunately, I left it a little late. Steve was great - he came round to see us and we had a fun photo shoot at our home then out in the countryside. He then made sure the photos were turned around in time, which wasn't easy seeing as I was on holiday after the shoot and Steve was going away straight after that. He did it though and the photos were fantastic! All in all, a great photographer and a really nice guy.
We go married in The Hague in The Netherlands and through a recommendation contacted Meyfroidt photography.We found the engagement shoot to be an awesome concept which resulted in some very nice, natural photos but more importantly established a rapport with the photographer ahead of the big day. The results from the day were amazing; Steve captured the atmosphere of the wedding, the character of the guests and the personalities of Us, the couple, with an easy and engaging manner.Steve was still in Holland the day after and went the extra mile in doing a follow up shoot with Us and immediate family.Elegantly the layouts and albums captured a narrative from the engagement shoot, through The Big Day and into the follow up shoot.Steve's eye for capturing those often fleeting and intangible aspects such as atmosphere, personality and mood are what, ultimately, separated our wedding album from the rest.I have no reservations in commending the services of Steve; we were truly delighted.
Meyfroidt photography covered our wedding this summer, and we really couldn’t be happier with the results. From the start we were sure we were going to get some really special photographs, and we weren’t disappointed.The engagement shoot was a great way to get used to being photographed and see just what was possible. Not to mention getting an excellent photo for our wall… Having met us, we found that on the day itself Steve worked really hard to not just capture the day but capture it in a way that suited our personalities. We were able to get superb pictures ranging from the formal groups through to some very creative shots using the striking venue to the very best effect.Soon after the day we were treated to a sneak preview of the shots on the blog, and then a full viewing. Steve did a great job of coming up with an initial layout idea for the album, and then we worked together to get it just right for us. The photos looked good on the screen, but the finished album looks even better. Thanks Steve! You’ve given us something creative and personal and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meyfroidt photography.
