Low Moor Head Caravan Site offers you the perfect base for your caravan holiday in Cumbria, The Scottish Borders and Carlisle.
Our caravan site is spread over an acre of grassland and as our caravan site is a Certified Location (CL) and is only for 5 caravans you'll appreciate that the acre of space goes a long way. This means that you'll have a well spaced grass or hardstanding caravan pitch with a hook-up and water supply. Whilst the television reception is excellent you may find yourself distracted by the wonderful views that surround you!

Despite being only 19 minutes from Carlisle we're well away from the noise of the main roads. We're on a quiet unclassified road, in a countryside location.
Located close to Carlisle and the A75 Euro route we're the ideal location as a base for exploring Cumbria, The Lake District, The Scottish Borders, Gretna with its new attraction of the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village, Hadrian's Wall or as a stop-over on your journey to Ireland.
We appreciate that our clients like the peace and solitude that caravanning brings and for this reason we operate a 'no children' policy. We think that you'll appreciate why when you visit.
For our clients who fancy a break from the cooking we are only about a mile from the market town of Longtown with its range of restaurants and takeaways.

Low Moor Head Caravan site is informal and relaxed and a superb for a number of quiet walks and cycle routes in the immediate area of the caravan site as well as local fishing.
Our caravan site is open all year round and we'd love to welcome you as you pass through on your next journey. Be warned though, many of our clients keep coming back, so advance booking is highly recommended.

the storage is second to none mr & mrs Taylor make you feel very welcome mrs taylor even washʼs your caravan when she brings it out of storage!!!!.. it is safe and well located to travel north and south they also have a excelent CL site on the farm which is very clean tidy and has all amenities close to hand the scenery is fabulous. every time we have been we have had a warm welcome from mr and mrs taylor and the farm animals thank you Peter and Michelle Scott
We were one of the Taylorsʼ earliest customers. We have been impressed with the way that the storage business has been established and progressed. Leaving an expensive caravan in storage, miles from home, is a potentially risky process, but the attention to detail, over and above the Gold Standard requirements, has taken the worries out of storage for us. Thereʼs always somebody to greet us, and to help with any minor problems. An excellent facility which I have no hesitation in recommending.
An excellent facility, easy access and very secure storage.The owners are very friendly and take pride in the high level of service they provide. I donʼt normally give recommendations but I have no hesitation in saying that anyone looking for somewhere to store their caravan wonʼt find a better place!
The Taylors have gone over and above the call of duty in my mind.Helping out with new tyres new gas and plumbing problems.Any thing I have asked to help me they have done it.As I live so far away and cant maintain my caravan they do it for me.I will as ARNIE says "BE BACK." A top notch place to store your caravan/motorhome.
