Carlisle's Crosby Lodge has a Civil Marriage License so it is able to host the entire wedding - the ceremony, the reception and the accommodation. The venue offers you the choice of holding the Civil Ceremony in the elegant surroundings of either the Drawing Room, Bar or Restaurant. For those of you with a truly romantic streak, (weather permitting) you can hold your Civil Ceremony in the Gazebo in the Walled Garden.

Carlisle's beautiful Crosby Lodge makes a superb backdrop for the wedding photographs, in addition, its terrace is the perfect spot for guests to mingle and enjoy a drink and canapés.

The owners of Carlisle's Crosby Lodge, Mr & Mrs Sedgwick, do not believe in compromising on the quality of service they provide. For that reason, they have a limit on the number of guests set at 65 for a wedding reception inside the hotel. For a larger wedding reception, the Sedgwick's can accommodate up to 150 guests utilising a magnificent marquee in the walled garden.
