I like to buy good meat, but this place is really exceptional.When I buy stewing beef, and make a casserole, and it is so tasty that I donʼt need an oxo cube. It is wonderful to know that the butcher can not only tell you the farm the meat originated from, but the breed of animal, and probably its name, and the temperament of its mother! I have never had a "duff" buy, be it beef, lamb, pork, turkey or duck, all of which I have bought.

I needed to organise food for a large party (90 people), and called in on Carrock Meats to provide 75lbs of topside beef. They provided excellent advice, delivered on time, and more importantly a huge number of guests complimented the beef.

this is a most exceptional butchers shop selling locally produced goods of the highest quality. The staff are some of the most pleasant and helpful people I have encountered for some years. There is an excellent selection of goods on display - one really is spoiled for choice. If you are ever in the Dalston area this shop is well worth a visit.
