Success stories from local Carlisle businesses

There's so much doom and gloom peddled from all directions, that it's sometimes easy to lose sight of the genuine good news.  It just gets buried.  Take for example, CBJ Electrical Services. They recently moved to larger premises in Warwick Mill, and took on new staff to meet rising demand for their electrical contracting and PAT testing work.  Their new location (Close to the M6, J43) and expanded workforce allows them better to expand into more regional work too.

Or how about Byte IT which has a similar story with a move to larger premises, and taking on of additional staff to handle domestic and business computer repairs, installation and contracts.

With so much bad news around, it's refreshing to hear something different, and it's also another reminder that good local businesses can thrive in difficult economic times.  In each case, these businesses are prepared to offer their customers and clients a bit more than the ordinary, and it has paid dividends for them. So congratulations to CBJ Electrical Services and Byte IT

The best service I've received recently was from Cumbria Green Energy Centre, who installed a new "A Rated" gas boiler in my home. They arrived at 8.30 in the morning, and worked almost without a break; the quality of workmanship was excellent, and they left the house cleaner than when they arrived! To cap it all, their prices were very reasonable. I couldn't really ask for more. report abuse...
