Meet the Team
Hi
I am Diana Vickers and the site owner of both thebestof Cardigan & Teifi Valley since December 2007 and bought thebestof Carmarthen in June 2008.
I am happily married to David who runs his own business but occasionally helps out with thebestof especially with the invoicing and other administration. 

My career has been quite eclectic from working in the Tourism sector, Newspapers in advertising to running my own training company, training the trainer, delivering courses in communication skills and image, public speaking and sales & marketing with several blue chip companies in and around London and the Home Counties.  After I married David we moved to Wiltshire and for a while (5 years!) I worked for Virgin Cosmetics and set up their self-employed sales force in the Cotswolds and South West and South Wales.

After a health warning for myself, David suggested we should move for a change in lifestyle to West Wales a place that both David and I have always felt is home.  This we did in 2004.  We have made many friends down here and it is now complimented by the many new business owners I am now meeting and working with.

We both love walking and have a loopy and very spoilt American Cocker Spaniel called Aphrodite who enjoys walks on the nearby beaches as well as the many hills we have around here.  We also have two cats, Pandora who thinks humans have just been put on this planet for her benefit and Treacle who is very streetwise or should I say field wise.  Treacle brings us many presents, which I'm afraid we do not appreciate as much as she would like.  We have a garden full of birds - over 35 varieties including Polonius the Pheasant!  The Garden was a field when we moved here and slowly I am creating a garden.  It is one of my new passions!!
