Corban Care Ltd is a local company based in Cardigan that provides domiciliary care throughout the Cardigan and Teifi Valley area and into Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. The company is a full member of the United Kingdom Home Carers Association. We are also registered under the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales.

Some of our service users are referred to us for home care services via Social Services, some are private while others have mixed packages of care.
Not only are we committed to providing the same level of care in rural and remote areas as well as urban centres, but we insist on the same high level of home care services however that care is funded.
We work closely with the NHS Trusts, district nurses, doctors and social services to ensure we offer the best level of home care services possible.

To ensure that we have the quality of care assistants and carers required to offer a first class home care service, we require all our carers who are working in the community to achieve NVQ Level II. Also staff working for Corban Care can take advantage of our own in house training facility which offers courses in:
- Community care
- Live in Care
- Day CAre
- Night Care
- Respite Care
- Abuse awareness
- Food hygiene
- First Response & CPR
- Challenging Behaviour.
The training suite, soon to be expanded, already offers a fully equipped area comprising the appropriate furniture and equipment in a typical flat of an elderly service user. This allows care assistants and carers to experience the reality of, for instance, lifting someone from a wheel chair into the bath.
All care assistants working for Corban Care Ltd will be regularly supervised and checked to ensure that the level of care of all service users using Corban Care Ltd, complies with the Care Standards Act 2000.
