Today, finally, Pink Orchid the best florist in Cardigan moved from their premises in Priory Street to much larger premises on the High Street in Pendre (Top of the Town).
This is a real success story and congratulations must go to Catrin Davies for all her hard work in making Pink Orchid the renowned florist it is. It has been a long haul from inception, complying with all the rules and regulations particularly those of Cadw. Pink Orchid had hoped to move last October to take advantage of the Christmas trade, but sadly not to be. However Catrin is a tenacious character and with support of her hard working parents it has last come to fruition!
The new premises are roomy, light and airy. Not only will you be able to buy flowers in beautiful bouquets created by Catrin and her team, but take a wander round the shop and you will see beautiful bespoke greetings cards, gifts for christenings and new babies. I personally loved the “Dumbo” set – mug, dish, plate soft cuddly Dumbo, presented in a lovely basket. Ideal for a new baby or maybe a 1 or 2 year old.
There are some gorgeous plant stands that would grace any house and particularly a conservatory. You will find indoor plant pots and some amazing very large cocktail glasses on tall stems, ideal for a table centre piece. Catrin had created a stunning arrangement in white and green – very contemporary. Loved it!
There are many pot plants in interesting pots – again ideal presents for Mum or Mother in Law. For those who are handy in the garden you will find gardening sets of Fork, Trowels and Gloves.
